Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leonardo Oro made the kick off which started today's match. Lisandro Lalatu's late challenge caught a Caiguas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Lalatu helped the player get up and apologised. Lisandro Lalatu kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Arturo Ubiña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xepe Bribiesca having to interfere. The supporters of Egas booed when Caiguas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Muxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Egas were awarded a corner. Bagui Mino went to the cornerflag to take it. Octavio Giribet thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Bagui Oviedo, a very annoying self made goal in the 17th minute which led to 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Caiguas FC's goalkeeper Bagui Oviedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mendoza Guisasola. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Ubiña in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xepe Bribiesca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Egas defense, Arturo Ubiña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xepe Bribiesca. The Egas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xepe Bribiesca should have stopped the shot. García Canto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xepe Bribiesca having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Ubiña in the 37th minute of play forced Egas's goalkeeper Xepe Bribiesca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Ubiña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xepe Bribiesca having to interfere. Fricson Maysonet charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fricson Maysonet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Egas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fricson Maysonet to maneuver through the defense. García Canto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 64th minute, Jaramillo Magaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 67 in the game by García Canto from a close distance when the talented Xepe Bribiesca managed to make a qualified save. Egas's players were relieved. 69 minutes in the game, Arturo Ubiña fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Xepe Bribiesca having to interfere. García Canto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Xepe Bribiesca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arturo Ubiña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Jaramillo Magaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mendoza Guisasola struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Bagui Oviedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egas. Luis-Antonio Hinojosa hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. 99 minutes into the match, Caiguas FC's Navarro Capacho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the final whistle sounded Caiguas FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Egas.
