Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joaquin Añel got the match started through his kick off. Lorenzo Manes took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salas Abalos. Salas Abalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ximenes Cuenia during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Quiroz SC got a freekick which was hit by Ximenes Cuenia. Hernan Arriola made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Freddy Besteiro sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 26 minutes, Freddy Besteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armenia SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Besteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Letatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Salas Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenzo Manes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salas Abalos having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Armenia SC's zone, Lorenzo Manes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salas Abalos came out of the goal and Lorenzo Manes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lorenzo Manes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Letatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Salas Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moreta Porlier charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moreta Porlier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Armenia SC got a freekick which was hit by Moreta Porlier. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Salas Abalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Manes in the 54th minute. Lorenzo Manes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Salas Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Armenia SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcos Letatu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 66th minute, Marcos Letatu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddy Besteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Arriola having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Quiroz SC's Lorenzo Manes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Salas Abalos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 72 minutes of play, Quiroz SC's Marcos Letatu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salas Abalos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Quiroz SC's zone, Joaquin Añel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Arriola came out of the goal and Joaquin Añel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armenia SC's Salas Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Manes in the 81st minute of play. Freddy Besteiro's late challenge caught a Quiroz SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Besteiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Freddy Besteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pepe Olozaga hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Quiroz SC's Stacio Magdalena tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hernan Arriola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Añel in the 96th minute of play. Quiroz SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
