In a very dangerous position, a player in Saquir FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! In the 7th minute, Carlos-Alberto Barredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Romeo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venceslao Severino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Romeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xaven Camacho in the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Saquir FC's zone, Venceslao Severino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Romeo came out of the goal and Venceslao Severino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julian Romeo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xaven Camacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A collision led to Saquir FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Eugenio Arejola hit a great ball. Venceslao Severino might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julian Romeo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venceslao Severino ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zadornin Archibeque during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Zadornin Archibeque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Macías Loño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bran Marban having to make a save. If Venceslao Severino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Romeo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xaven Camacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Rosario Lizanein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Xaven Camacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Romeo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venceslao Severino in the 45th minute of play. Bran Marban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paiva Somarribas in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xaven Camacho was the one to do the kick off. Guayquichuma SC's Klimowitz Santoni got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urtsin Querijazu during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Guayquichuma SC booed when Saquir FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urtsin Querijazu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes in the game Zadornin Archibeque got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Xaven Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Guayquichuma SC's Viviano Rogel got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 1-1 became the score in the 76th minute when Macías Loño elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Guayquichuma SC's Venceslao Severino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julian Romeo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xaven Camacho in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Romeo saved Saquir FC from getting behind. Julian Romeo made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Venceslao Severino sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute, Luis Abrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paiva Somarribas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bran Marban having to interfere. In the 96th minute Macías Loño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Marban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
