Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) CD Huanubuela's Zeru Aguileta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Urtun Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Roque Echave tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, CD Huanubuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Arteson to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Zeru Aguileta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Novales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Urtun Thomas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roque Echave was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estrada Castañon in the 28th minute of play forced CD Huanubuela's goalkeeper Roque Echave to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roque Echave made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtun Thomas in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Urtun Thomas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Huanubuela's goalkeeper Roque Echave, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Estrada Castañon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Echave took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estrada Castañon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes, Estrada Castañon made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. CD Huanubuela's Roque Echave tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ignacio Samperio managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Huanubuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Samperio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Novales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urtun Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Roque Echave tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, CD Arroyo's Estrada Castañon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roque Echave narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 72 played minutes CD Huanubuela got a freekick which was hit by Yago Mauricio. The supporters of CD Arroyo booed when CD Huanubuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Aviñante didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Urtun Thomas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Huanubuela's Roque Echave was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Urtun Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urtun Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to CD Huanubuela getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Yago Mauricio hit a great ball. Moreno Corvera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CD Huanubuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
