Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) UD Tio's Ximenez Orruma started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If José-Manuel Luey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ximenez Orruma in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Villa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. René Pedraza charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed René Pedraza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, René Pedraza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to UD Tio getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Pedro Vuelvetoros hit a great ball. Rodas Castillejo's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Sergio Pombo - 1-0 was put on the score board in the 11th minute. When José-Manuel Luey fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Tio's protests and gave José-Manuel Luey a yellow card for diving instead. José-Manuel Luey kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. UD Tio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Zigor Tobalina scored to the left of an out of position Sergio Pombo, making the score, 2-0. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for UD Tio. Pedro Vuelvetoros stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marco Villa. 2-1. Sergio Pombo made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Macias Martua sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Andahualo SC's zone, José-Manuel Luey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Villa came out of the goal and José-Manuel Luey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Zamanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Villa having to interfere. 2-2 became the score in the 47th minute when José-Manuel Luey elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zigor Tobalina was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes UD Tio got a freekick which was hit by Ximenez Orruma. In the 58thth minute of the game Zigor Tobalina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Tio's Sergio Pombo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Villa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ximenez Orruma in the 59th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, UD Tio's goal looked a bit too open when Zigor Tobalina came free, but Sergio Pombo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Andahualo SC's zone, José-Manuel Luey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Villa came out of the goal and José-Manuel Luey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Zigor Tobalina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Pombo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zigor Tobalina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The UD Tio supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing UD Tio would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
