The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Uspud FC fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Uspud FC's Guagua Coyences looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 8 minutes, Delgado Espejo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valdez SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delgado Espejo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delgado Espejo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Guagua Coyences fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Weather Bellosillo having to interfere. Valdez SC's Delgado Espejo suffered a sore knee after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Vito Infiesto fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uspud FC's protests and gave Vito Infiesto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Uspud FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Vito Infiesto hit a great ball. Jacobo Tomas struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Augusto Cueli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valdez SC. Guagua Coyences might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Weather Bellosillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guagua Coyences ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdez SC's Roris Fabregas got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Tomas in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Cueli saved Uspud FC from getting behind. Guagua Coyences received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Weather Bellosillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guagua Coyences sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Tomas struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Augusto Cueli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valdez SC. If Lopez Ardazun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Valdez SC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Lucas Ozaolaza hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Guagua Coyences's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Weather Bellosillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Lucas Ozaolaza kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 65 minutes, Yago Marron mouthed his way into the referee's book. Gian-Carlo Taboada was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Guagua Coyences might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Weather Bellosillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guagua Coyences ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdez SC's Weather Bellosillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Valdez SC from getting a goal against them. The Uspud FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
