Coquito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Palacios Coyences was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Iván Garin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Luciano Albalate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, UD Carbon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Justavino Mariaza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, UD Carbon's Luciano Albalate got control of the ball when Iván Garin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iván Garin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Ferreras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palacios Coyences, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Justavino Mariaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Albalate having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match, Justavino Mariaza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luciano Albalate saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. UD Carbon's Ponce Ayala got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. UD Carbon's Luciano Albalate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justavino Mariaza in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justavino Mariaza made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Wilmer Hordas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Palacios Coyences had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palacios Coyences's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Enrique Ferreras skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Coquito FC's Justavino Mariaza got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 played minutes UD Carbon got a freekick which was hit by Nando Failde. After having played for 67 minutes, Iván Garin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coquito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iván Garin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justavino Mariaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Luciano Albalate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, UD Carbon's Salas Hormaiztegui dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justavino Mariaza in the 79th minute of play forced UD Carbon's goalkeeper Luciano Albalate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cortez Bernardo during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Coquito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cortez Bernardo to maneuver through the defense. Palacios Coyences received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute.
