Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ledesma Vela got the match started through his kick off. Ledesma Vela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ledesma Vela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zeledon Zalvide was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. With his leg Zeledon Zalvide managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when UD Briceno's José-Francisco Loza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valiente Neriz charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valiente Neriz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of UD Briceno booed when CD Bomboiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valiente Neriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, UD Briceno's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Ureta came free, but Victoriano Asenjo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CD Bomboiza's Cesar Moro got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Pavel Ureta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Asenjo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José-Francisco Loza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Zeledon Zalvide made a huge save. Ledesma Vela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Zeledon Zalvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Xorxe Vierna made a precise shot to the right of Victoriano Asenjo. UD Briceno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Pavel Ureta came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the CD Bomboiza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Ureta couldn't finish the play. After the first half CD Bomboiza were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xorxe Vierna to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute, Hector Dolarea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CD Bomboiza's Zeledon Zalvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ledesma Vela in the 68th minute of play. Ledesma Vela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Zeledon Zalvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Asenjo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xorxe Vierna's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. If Pavel Ureta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xorxe Vierna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes, Polo Caras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Bomboiza and the UD Briceno players grew even worse after the yellow card. Polo Caras hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Xorxe Vierna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manolo Garnica hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Briceno's goalkeeper Victoriano Asenjo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded CD Bomboiza left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than UD Briceno.
