Yépez Villabol was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Zunbeltz Irazabal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zunbeltz Irazabal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Ur Anduiza kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Maximo Reborio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Esparza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes of play, Pilco's Pedro Esparza made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Reborio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Igualala's Maximo Reborio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Esparza in the 30th minute of play. Guagua Ramon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Pilco booed when Igualala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bone Gainza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Igualala's goal looked a bit too open when Guagua Ramon came free, but Maximo Reborio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Pedro Esparza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Klimowitz Lereira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Igualala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilco the free kick. After a rather tough play, Igualala's Klimowitz Lereira got a free kick in the 46th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Igualala fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Pilco. Rodolfo Guemez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maximo Reborio. 1-3. After the first half Pilco were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zunbeltz Irazabal was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Pedro Esparza fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 61st minute, Zunbeltz Irazabal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Guagua Ramon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilco's supporters rose to their feet, but Guagua Ramon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Reborio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Igualala booed when Pilco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Ester didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Ur Anduiza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yépez Villabol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zunbeltz Irazabal in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yépez Villabol saved Pilco from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Pilco's Adolfo Ester got a free kick in the 77th minute. Yépez Villabol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zunbeltz Irazabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guagua Ramon might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Reborio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guagua Ramon ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Esparza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Maximo Reborio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zunbeltz Irazabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Yépez Villabol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Ester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Reborio having to interfere. The Igualala fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pilco were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
