In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jauregui SC's goalkeeper Walter Concellon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Murillo Jofre made a precise shot to the right of Walter Concellon. Jauregui SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Jauregui SC's Walter Concellon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo Jofre in the 42nd minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Criban Carranza scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Araña, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 64 minutes, Murillo Jofre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ainche's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murillo Jofre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cruz Miar during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 71 minutes into the game, Narciso Orantes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Walter Concellon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the game, Criban Carranza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Alfonso Araña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xusto Rincon during the 80th minute.
