After a rather tough play, CD Cuvintzi's Perlaza Lainez got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Xosepe Celerain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flor Ajamil in the 39th minute of the match. Ordóñez Vial recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Casa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Xosepe Celerain made a huge save. Jaguito's Ruben Pujol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Devalla in the 49th minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ordóñez Vial was the one to do the kick off. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when CD Cuvintzi's Ordóñez Vial in the 93rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ruben Pujol was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Jaguito through an amazing save. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Cuvintzi's Ordóñez Vial slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruben Pujol. That made the score 0-1 after 96 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CD Cuvintzi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
