Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ordóñez Vial started the match with the kick off. Loco Loinaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zilar Fragua, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Loco Loinaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zilar Fragua in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Rosero Franquis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Cuvintzi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Balzas the free kick. Frutos Boliana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xosepe Celerain came out and tried to block the shot, but Frutos Boliana slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. 22 minutes into the match, CD Cuvintzi's Ordóñez Vial sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Loco Loinaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ordóñez Vial had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pepe Gandarias fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Balzas's protests and gave Pepe Gandarias a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to UD Balzas getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Pepe Gandarias hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, CD Cuvintzi's Ismael Barria tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, UD Balzas's Pepe Gandarias got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of CD Cuvintzi booed when UD Balzas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justavino Utrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes, CD Cuvintzi's Ismael Barria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Loco Loinaz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CD Cuvintzi reached it. In the 36th minute Frutos Boliana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xosepe Celerain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco Loinaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ordóñez Vial went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the match, Zilar Fragua notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of UD Balzas's Loco Loinaz. Loco Loinaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The UD Balzas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CD Cuvintzi were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frutos Boliana was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frutos Boliana in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xosepe Celerain saved CD Cuvintzi from getting behind. Xosepe Celerain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segio Camp in the 57th minute of play. When Pepe Gandarias was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. After 65 played minutes UD Balzas got a freekick which was hit by Pepe Gandarias. 66 minutes into the match, CD Cuvintzi's Ismael Barria broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Loco Loinaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ordóñez Vial in the 67th minute of play. Ordóñez Vial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loco Loinaz having to interfere. In the 75th minute Arnoldo Rescuro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 75 minutes into the game, Fernandez Falconi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Cuvintzi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Balzas the free kick. Fernandez Falconi hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Justavino Utrera struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Xosepe Celerain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Balzas. With an all-out effort, CD Cuvintzi's Loco Loinaz threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ordóñez Vial, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 94 minutes into the match, Justavino Utrera notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of CD Cuvintzi's Xosepe Celerain. Xosepe Celerain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
