Angochahua's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vimaro Fornell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Virgilio Palomeque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Angochahua got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Romeo. In the 97th minute, Edwin Aleman sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Angochahua's Ruperto Balensuela didn't even have to move. Guachala FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
