Xabier Malo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Balensuela having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Faical SC's Xabier Malo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Balensuela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Faical SC's Teodoro Varaona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogerio Isurieta in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Faical SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogerio Isurieta came free, but Teodoro Varaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Xabier Malo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faical SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xabier Malo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xabier Malo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferrer Jado's late challenge caught a Angochahua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferrer Jado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Ferrer Jado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Villota Cuevas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
