The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Martines got free with Eugenio Allo in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 65 played minutes Faical SC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Olivos. In the 66th minute of the match Edwin Aleman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodoro Varaona showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Alex Martines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
