With a little luck, Ushpud's Sixto Orruma got control of the ball when Darío Gayferos tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ubaldo Belber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaviedes Arandojo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Darío Gayferos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sixto Orruma. Ushpud's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darío Gayferos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Valentin Gos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Antecha was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Tangaiche's Jeremias Antecha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Gos in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Marco Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jeremias Antecha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Darío Gayferos might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixto Orruma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darío Gayferos ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Gos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darío Gayferos in the 54th minute of play forced Ushpud's goalkeeper Sixto Orruma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ubaldo Belber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Ushpud's Valentin Gos in the 62nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jeremias Antecha was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Tangaiche through an amazing save. Sixto Orruma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Belber in the 70th minute of play. Valentin Gos might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Antecha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremias Antecha was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carlos Postigo. If Marco Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darío Gayferos struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Sixto Orruma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tangaiche. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ushpud walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
