CD Cacaoal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tixan the free kick. In the 9th match minute, CD Cacaoal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Zadaya to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Tixan defense, Emanuel Peñacastillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boris Regueira. The Tixan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boris Regueira should have stopped the shot. Murillo Boix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Sopena in the 17th minute of the match. CD Cacaoal's Murillo Boix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save CD Cacaoal from getting a goal against them. Boris Regueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Peñacastillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Segundo Sopena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Peñacastillo struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Boris Regueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Cacaoal. Boris Regueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ascencio Fortuño in the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 63rd match minute, CD Cacaoal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luzuriaga Vallujera to maneuver through the defense. Ascencio Fortuño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Boris Regueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of CD Cacaoal booed when Tixan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Barrantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Luzuriaga Vallujera sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tixan's Boris Regueira didn't even have to move. 81 minutes into the match, Segundo Sopena notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of CD Cacaoal's Murillo Boix. Murillo Boix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th match minute, Tixan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Hero to maneuver through the defense. Boris Regueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Peñacastillo in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Tixan's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Peñacastillo came free, but Boris Regueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Zadaya was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 93rd match minute, CD Cacaoal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Zadaya to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Sopena in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murillo Boix saved CD Cacaoal from getting behind. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
