After 16 played minutes, Narancay FC's Benjamin Abrea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Murillo Boix came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Narancay FC reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ursino Dios got free with Murillo Boix in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ascencio Fortuño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ursino Dios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Boix having to interfere. Narancay FC's Borja Muruve pulled a muscle in his back after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 27 played minutes CD Cacaoal got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Zadaya. After having played for 32 minutes, Richard Coloma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Narancay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Coloma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Geancarlos Udaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ursino Dios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Coloma to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Coloma in the 52nd minute of play forced CD Cacaoal's goalkeeper Murillo Boix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Xerardo Zalona fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Cacaoal's protests and gave Xerardo Zalona a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CD Cacaoal getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Xerardo Zalona hit a great ball. Richard Coloma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Boix having to interfere. Murillo Boix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veronica Novo in the 70th minute of the match. Ursino Dios might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Murillo Boix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ursino Dios ran back to his position shaking his head. Pavel Salinas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Peñacastillo in the 83rd minute of play. Murillo Boix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Coloma went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Murillo Boix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ursino Dios, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Veronica Novo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Murillo Boix. CD Cacaoal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 92nd minute Ursino Dios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Boix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narancay FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
