Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luciano Echaitia kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as UD Carretas's Aurelio Yaner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Criban Goyanes. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. After 5 played minutes UD Carretas got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Flor. Montalvo Murillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Azpeitia in the 6th minute of the match. Jimmy Iruretagoyena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Montalvo Murillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Rodrigo Azpeitia made a precise shot to the right of Montalvo Murillo. UD Carretas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Tonio Babia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Montalvo Murillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the UD Carretas defense, Rodrigo Azpeitia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Montalvo Murillo. The UD Carretas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Montalvo Murillo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Azpeitia in the 25th minute of play forced UD Carretas's goalkeeper Montalvo Murillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When CD Guallagro's Rodrigo Azpeitia in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UD Carretas's goalie prevented a goal. Montalvo Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Iruretagoyena, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 35th minute, Ysidro Elosua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the UD Carretas defense, Jimmy Iruretagoyena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Montalvo Murillo. The UD Carretas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Montalvo Murillo should have stopped the shot. Montalvo Murillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Azpeitia in the 46th minute of play. The UD Carretas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CD Guallagro were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Azpeitia made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Yaner in the 53rd minute of play forced CD Guallagro's goalkeeper Criban Goyanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmy Iruretagoyena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montalvo Murillo having to interfere. Rodrigo Azpeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Montalvo Murillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Azpeitia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Montalvo Murillo was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 70th minute, Ysidro Elosua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of UD Carretas booed when CD Guallagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tonio Babia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Azpeitia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Llarena during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ruperto Arraña kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jimmy Iruretagoyena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Montalvo Murillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Rodrigo Azpeitia took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Montalvo Murillo to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of CD Guallagro booed when UD Carretas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Echaitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmy Iruretagoyena struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Montalvo Murillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Guallagro. Trota Lamboy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Montalvo Murillo having to make a save. CD Guallagro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
