Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Justice League's Edwin Villayres started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Garcés Bribiesca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Justice League's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garcés Bribiesca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 6 played minutes Villacis SC got a freekick which was hit by John Garaizar. Ponce Fabeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Ibaizabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Villacis SC's Fabian Tejeyra got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Victor Ibaizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Edwin Villayres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th minute, Victor Ibaizabal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ponce Fabeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Villacis SC's zone, Edwin Villayres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ponce Fabeiro came out of the goal and Edwin Villayres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Barriola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Justice League's Edwin Villayres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ponce Fabeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Iros during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Villacis SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Iros to maneuver through the defense. If Victor Ibaizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Edwin Villayres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ponce Fabeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Edwin Villayres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Justice League getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Garcés Bribiesca hit a great ball. Justice League's Hal Villegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Monta in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Tejeyra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Edwin Villayres made a precise shot to the right of Ponce Fabeiro. Villacis SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Edwin Villayres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ponce Fabeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. If Edwin Villayres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Ibaizabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ponce Fabeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Luis Cambas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hal Villegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Amestoy kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Justice League's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Tejeyra came free, but Hal Villegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Ibaizabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes Villacis SC got a freekick which was hit by Nixon Granero. In the 82nd match minute, Villacis SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xuaco Caraduje to maneuver through the defense. Hal Villegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Tejeyra in the 86th minute of play. Hal Villegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Tejeyra in the 89th minute of the match. Edwin Villayres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 91 minutes, Vasco Monta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villacis SC and the Justice League players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Villacis SC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Vasco Monta hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Tejeyra in the 94th minute of play forced Justice League's goalkeeper Hal Villegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justice League played a much better game than Villacis SC and deserved their victory. The Villacis SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
