Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jimmy Unzueta started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in S.D. RAYO's zone, Aurelio Ilardia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Texeira Frecha came out of the goal and Aurelio Ilardia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chico Carabajo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Texeira Frecha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, S.D. RAYO's Luis-Antonio Vuelva got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute Chico Carabajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Texeira Frecha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Chico Carabajo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Carnot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chico Carabajo couldn't finish the play. Nando Torralbo came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by S.D. RAYO's Jimmy Unzueta. But to his dismay, Jimmy Unzueta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 24 minutes, Stalin Trilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carnot and the S.D. RAYO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stalin Trilla hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Nando Torralbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Unzueta in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes S.D. RAYO got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Fasgar. After 33 minutes, Reyes Mendaza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.D. RAYO and the Carnot players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes S.D. RAYO got a freekick which was hit by Reyes Mendaza. 35 minutes in the game Julian Salcines got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Texeira Frecha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chico Carabajo's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Julian Salcines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nando Torralbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis-Antonio Vuelva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Julian Salcines's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Texeira Frecha was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the game, Luis-Antonio Vuelva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.D. RAYO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carnot the free kick. In the 47th minute, Luis-Antonio Vuelva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Carnot players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.D. RAYO were winning 0-2.

Texeira Frecha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Carabajo in the 56th minute of the match. Luis-Antonio Vuelva kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Teo Alceda hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Xuan Fombona from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Nando Torralbo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With an all-out effort, S.D. RAYO's Nando Torralbo threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jimmy Unzueta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Lizaso in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Texeira Frecha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Carnot's Teo Alceda got a free kick in the 67th minute. Xuan Fombona struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Nando Torralbo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.D. RAYO. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Lizaso in the 76th minute of play forced S.D. RAYO's goalkeeper Texeira Frecha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Aurelio Ilardia notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of S.D. RAYO's Texeira Frecha. Texeira Frecha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 81 played minutes Carnot got a freekick which was hit by Julian Salcines. Jimmy Unzueta charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimmy Unzueta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, S.D. RAYO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Unzueta to maneuver through the defense. During the 85th minute of the match Luis-Antonio Vuelva completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luis-Antonio Vuelva a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Carnot's Aurelio Ilardia got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Carnot manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing S.D. RAYO to win.
