Romo Varandalla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Zaragoza FC's goalkeeper Romo Varandalla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Romo Mazas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Zaragoza FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hermosa FC the free kick. Romo Varandalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Peres in the 27th minute of play. Dalmacio Serradell took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romo Varandalla. Romo Varandalla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Wilfredo Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Romo Varandalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Zaragoza FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Xanti Arzola 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Peres got free with Romo Varandalla in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Xavierlada Romano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Deportivo Zaragoza FC got a freekick which was hit by Romano Sarratea. Wilfredo Peres struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Romo Varandalla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hermosa FC. Despite being the better team, Hermosa FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
