In the 3rd match minute, Marina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lourenco Valluerca to maneuver through the defense. Bras Borniquell was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee ignored Guasimales FC's protests and gave Salvadore Dalmases a yellow card for diving instead. Nuno Espin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venceslas Mondragon in the 94th minute of play. Marina's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
