A collision led to Mochila FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Niolaao Cenzano hit a great ball. Gelacio Carlos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Carneiro in the 7th minute of the match. Majagua FC's Gelacio Carlos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelayo Villacanes in the 13th minute of play. Gelacio Carlos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Carneiro in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inguma Lizana in the 26th minute of play forced Mochila FC's goalkeeper Licerio Telena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gelacio Carlos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pelayo Villacanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inguma Lizana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Licerio Telena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Bruno Gabiña got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inguma Lizana was the one to do the kick off. Bruno Gabiña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Licerio Telena having to interfere. Majagua FC's Xofre Quicedo got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Licerio Telena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Gabiña, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Gabiña in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Licerio Telena saved Mochila FC from getting behind. Licerio Telena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inguma Lizana in the 63rd minute of the match. Pelayo Villacanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gelacio Carlos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Majagua FC a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vistruario Beneit, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mochila FC's Licerio Telena. 1-0. Pelayo Villacanes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Gelacio Carlos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eztebe Cabeza kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Majagua FC's Gelacio Carlos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Majagua FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 85 minutes, Pelayo Villacanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mochila FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pelayo Villacanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute Bruno Gabiña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Licerio Telena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute, Pelayo Villacanes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
