Penitas's Opilano Villamizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menendo Ciriaca in the 4th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Clemente Valdevielso took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Hugo Nueva to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Penitas defense, Menendo Ciriaca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Opilano Villamizar. The Penitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Opilano Villamizar should have stopped the shot. Lordi Ron in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
