The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Platanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iparragirre Mazariegos to maneuver through the defense. When Bermund Robira came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Londres FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bermund Robira couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Londres FC booed when Platanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Maestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Txomin Pico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curcio Hoyon, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Curcio Hoyon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Txomin Pico having to make a save. Azubeli Barroiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azubeli Barroiz in the 31st minute of play forced Londres FC's goalkeeper Txomin Pico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Bermund Robira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Guerra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Teobaldo Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Isaac Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Azubeli Barroiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 45 played minutes Platanera got a freekick which was hit by Goito Vargas. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Acosta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Guerra was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Azubeli Barroiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Teodoro Belber got a very nice opportunity to score, but Txomin Pico was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Platanera's Isaac Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Acosta in the 54th minute of play. Teobaldo Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Isaac Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Londres FC booed when Platanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Goito Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Londres FC's Cordarrel Neyda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Platanera. Teobaldo Acosta took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Guerra. Isaac Guerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Curcio Hoyon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Teobaldo Acosta sped through Platanera's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isaac Guerra. In the 73rd minute, Teodoro Belber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Londres FC's Medero Vivaldo got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 82 minutes, Qwinton Iribe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Londres FC and the Platanera players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Londres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qwinton Iribe to maneuver through the defense. Txomin Pico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Curcio Hoyon in the 84th minute. Qwinton Iribe struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Isaac Guerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Londres FC. Isaac Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bermund Robira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Acosta notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Platanera's Isaac Guerra. Isaac Guerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Londres FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Platanera had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
