Jeremy Alire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cajon FC's Siro Somonte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabino Ororbia in the 12th minute of play. Jeremy Alire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Estevao Faubelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cajon FC's Jeremy Alire got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Jeremy Alire notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pernambuco FC's Estevao Faubelo. Estevao Faubelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Pernambuco FC's Gabino Ororbia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Siro Somonte. That made the score 1-1 after 29 minutes of play. Zuri Abajas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremy Alire couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabino Ororbia to make the kick off. When Loramendi Tama came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Cajon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loramendi Tama couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute Vachon Erosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estevao Faubelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Pernambuco FC's Cuarto Labra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Estevao Faubelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vachon Erosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pernambuco FC's goalkeeper Estevao Faubelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremy Alire got free with Estevao Faubelo in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Medardo Castreciones kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Jeremy Alire, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 74 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Estevao Faubelo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 76 minutes, Vachon Erosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cajon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vachon Erosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 79 played minutes Cajon FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavierlada Curueño. In the 82nd minute, Ulises Bettencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zuri Abajas might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Somonte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
