Abelardo Novales took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Quintyn Olveira. Caseteja's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Caseteja's Medardo Bonjoch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aztore Moreyre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Shepherd Gochicoa might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quintyn Olveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shepherd Gochicoa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute, Gillermo Govelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Caseteja's zone, Shepherd Gochicoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quintyn Olveira came out of the goal and Shepherd Gochicoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gillermo Govelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baiona Balaunde hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Gillermo Govelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Equipollyn FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gillermo Govelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tallia Ibarrola charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tallia Ibarrola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Equipollyn FC booed when Caseteja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tallia Ibarrola didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Equipollyn FC's Gillermo Govelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quintyn Olveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Caseteja's Quintyn Olveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gillermo Govelo in the 44th minute of play. Gillermo Govelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quintyn Olveira having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Medardo Bonjoch made a kick off. The supporters of Equipollyn FC booed when Caseteja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekaitz Irazu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidio Palazuelo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Quintyn Olveira. Caseteja's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Caseteja's Tallia Ibarrola got a free kick in the 57th minute. Equipollyn FC's Gillermo Govelo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Caseteja's Quintyn Olveira got control of the ball when Shepherd Gochicoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tirso Alamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aztore Moreyre having to interfere. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Equipollyn FC's goalkeeper Aztore Moreyre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Medardo Bonjoch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aztore Moreyre was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 78th minute, Ekaitz Irazu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82ndth minute of the game Tirso Alamon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Equipollyn FC's Aztore Moreyre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Quintyn Olveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gillermo Govelo in the 93rd minute of the match. Gillermo Govelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quintyn Olveira having to interfere. Caseteja's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
