The supporters of Equipollyn FC booed when Boladeoro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peruxu Villagra didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Ovidio Palazuelo from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Ronaldo Larrauri's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Blasco Barrachina kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Aztore Moreyre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Miranes in the 16th minute of the match. Equipollyn FC's Shepherd Gochicoa got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Equipollyn FC's zone, Xencio Escobedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aztore Moreyre came out of the goal and Xencio Escobedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Gillermo Govelo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ronaldo Larrauri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Equipollyn FC. Shepherd Gochicoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ronaldo Larrauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aztore Moreyre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xencio Escobedo in the 66th minute. Shepherd Gochicoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Xencio Escobedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronaldo Larrauri came out of the goal and Gillermo Govelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xencio Escobedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aztore Moreyre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xencio Escobedo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Leandro Aguayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Equipollyn FC had won after a very even match.
