Jorge Barona made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Grabiel Lamboy sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Casacunte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Weather Chirinos came free, but Ponciano Aguinagalde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Casacunte FC's Savion Trigueros got a free kick in the 19th minute. Lixandro Barja, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ruy Ramila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casacunte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruy Ramila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Barona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Barona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bixintxo Valls in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Bixintxo Valls was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casacunte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arauco the free kick. The supporters of Arauco booed when Casacunte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bixintxo Valls didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes, Arauco's Lixandro Barja shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ponciano Aguinagalde came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arauco reached it. Weather Chirinos might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ponciano Aguinagalde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Weather Chirinos ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 43 minutes, Richie Urtaran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arauco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richie Urtaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ponciano Aguinagalde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richie Urtaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richie Urtaran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ponciano Aguinagalde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richie Urtaran in the 73rd minute of the match. If Weather Chirinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Barona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grabiel Lamboy in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, one of Arauco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Weather Chirinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ponciano Aguinagalde having to interfere. Richie Urtaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave Casacunte FC a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nelio Guareña, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arauco's Jorge Barona. 3-0. In the 101st minute, Arauco's Richie Urtaran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Casacunte FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
