Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Etxeberri Bermeo started the match with the kick off. Ramiro Rocandia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 5 minutes, Etxeberri Bermeo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mumbu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Etxeberri Bermeo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eufemio Rocha in the 7th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Salvidor Hoyos kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Eufemio Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Covadonga's goal looked a bit too open when Etxeberri Bermeo came free, but Emenon Gacel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eufemio Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvidor Hoyos having to interfere. Belasko Cerda kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Salvidor Hoyos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eufemio Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Eufemio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eufemio Rocha was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes, Ramiro Rocandia made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mumbu's Salvidor Hoyos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Salvidor Hoyos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Rocandia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Covadonga's Eufemio Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvidor Hoyos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Liher Garantos's late challenge caught a Covadonga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liher Garantos helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Mumbu got a freekick which was hit by Liher Garantos. 80 minutes into the game, Duarte Santiso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Covadonga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mumbu the free kick. In the 80th match minute, Covadonga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Santiso to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Rocandia in the 97th minute of play forced Mumbu's goalkeeper Salvidor Hoyos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
