Stanislao Brau made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Bembe Vidales sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Fernandez Munguia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Goren Gil was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stefano Galindez made a kick off. Nevada Tejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goren Gil having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bembe Vidales in the 65th minute of play forced Corona's goalkeeper Stanislao Brau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ticho Murgia's late challenge caught a Corona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ticho Murgia helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Corona booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ticho Murgia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Fernandez Munguia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nacional's Goren Gil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Stefano Galindez came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefano Galindez couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Corona! The referee gave Nacional a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sanson Pedraja, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Corona's Stanislao Brau. 2-0. When Nevada Tejo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Corona fans jumped to their feet.
