Jimeno Sominaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Rosacercada FC's zone, Vicente Cegama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanio Acevedo came out of the goal and Vicente Cegama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Vicente Cegama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanio Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oier Ugartondo during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Bonet in the 37th minute of play forced Rosacercada FC's goalkeeper Tanio Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Recado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romo Cruz to maneuver through the defense. After 94 played minutes, Rosacercada FC's Xove Solares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jimeno Sominaya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rosacercada FC reached it. Vitorino Bardece received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jimeno Sominaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rosacercada FC had won after a very even match.
