Pudes Antolin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Puelles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. If Pudes Antolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Muno Uceda fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cocuisitas FC's protests and gave Muno Uceda a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cocuisitas FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Muno Uceda hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Bento Albaratay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vito Puelles. Cocuisitas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bento Albaratay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 17th minute, Txindoki Alvadalejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Bento Albaratay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trinta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bento Albaratay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito Puelles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Galdia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Atarratze Bolinaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pudes Antolin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bento Albaratay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes, Zigor Belarrinaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cocuisitas FC and the Trinta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cocuisitas FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Zigor Belarrinaga hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Bento Albaratay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vito Puelles was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cocuisitas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Lorenz Obies shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 37 minutes into the game, Trinta FC's Pudes Antolin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vito Puelles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Vito Puelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pudes Antolin in the 41st minute of the match. The Cocuisitas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trinta FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Galdia to make the kick off. Felix Galdia struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Atarratze Bolinaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cocuisitas FC. After a defensive mix-up in Cocuisitas FC's zone, Pudes Antolin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vito Puelles came out of the goal and Pudes Antolin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bento Albaratay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vito Puelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Albaratay in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Cocuisitas FC's Felix Galdia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atarratze Bolinaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ibon Tarulla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pudes Antolin might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vito Puelles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pudes Antolin ran back to his position shaking his head. Vito Puelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Albaratay, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Atarratze Bolinaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ibon Tarulla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, Trinta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aritza Simon to maneuver through the defense. Atarratze Bolinaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Galdia's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The supporters of Cocuisitas FC booed when Trinta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aritza Simon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ibon Tarulla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atarratze Bolinaga having to interfere. The Cocuisitas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Trinta FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Trinta FC.
