An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaizki Caseda in the 5th minute of play forced Cousarijuna's goalkeeper Nisio Saro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bernard Capon fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cousarijuna's protests and gave Bernard Capon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cousarijuna getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bernard Capon hit a great ball. Geofredo Azcona struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Nisio Saro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mojaculo. After having played for 12 minutes, Stanislao Paza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mojaculo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislao Paza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nisio Saro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislao Paza in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jaizki Caseda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stanislao Paza scored 1-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nisio Saro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
