Patuato FC's Guaberto Marigorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurin Uruñuela in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Patuato FC's Cordeiro Rivera got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Luis-Antonio Maysonet fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patuato FC's protests and gave Luis-Antonio Maysonet a yellow card for diving instead. Luis-Antonio Maysonet kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match William Moran shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guaberto Marigorta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Arroyuelo FC's Mano Font got control of the ball when Piorno Larren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arroyuelo FC's Hugo Villandiego got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Villandiego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Guaberto Marigorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hugo Villandiego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurin Uruñuela scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guaberto Marigorta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Arroyuelo FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jacindo Cotarelo hit a great ball. Xuaco Muela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mano Font tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mano Font took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xuaco Muela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 50thth minute of the game Hugo Villandiego who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patuato FC's Guaberto Marigorta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Villandiego to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Villandiego in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Marigorta saved Patuato FC from getting behind. Guaberto Marigorta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Villandiego in the 60th minute of the match. With a little luck, Patuato FC's Guaberto Marigorta got control of the ball when Maurin Uruñuela tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in William Moran almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Patuato FC's Guaberto Marigorta did a great save. 68 minutes into the match, Piorno Larren notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Arroyuelo FC's Mano Font. Mano Font was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xuaco Muela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mano Font tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Arroyuelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Renato Cardeña. Maurin Uruñuela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Marigorta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Luis-Antonio Maysonet kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Maurin Uruñuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Marigorta having to interfere. If Xuaco Muela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Arroyuelo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Piorno Larren came free, but Mano Font reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Patuato FC's zone, Renato Cardeña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Marigorta came out of the goal and Renato Cardeña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
