Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Perez Collantes made the kick off and thus started the match. Rolando Ladra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Villandiego in the 5th minute of play. If Hugo Villandiego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurin Uruñuela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Ladra having to interfere. Mano Font showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perez Collantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Rolando Ladra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Villandiego in the 24th minute of the match. Perez Collantes struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Mano Font didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Damian. After a rather tough play, Damian's Frantzes Cordon got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Damian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Besosa to maneuver through the defense. William Moran was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Maurin Uruñuela came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Arroyuelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurin Uruñuela couldn't finish the play. The Arroyuelo FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Arroyuelo FC's Hugo Villandiego looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Javier Ibarra might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mano Font. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Ibarra ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Villandiego stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mano Font stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Perez Collantes's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Arroyuelo FC's zone, Javier Ibarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mano Font came out of the goal and Javier Ibarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Ladra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Villandiego in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Hugo Villandiego recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Ladra. Hugo Villandiego showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Arroyuelo FC's Renato Cardeña got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Maurin Uruñuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Richie Besosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Rolando Ladra managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Arroyuelo FC's Maurin Uruñuela fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rolando Ladra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurin Uruñuela in the 76th minute. Damian's Javier Ibarra got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacindo Cotarelo during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Damian booed when Arroyuelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacindo Cotarelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arroyuelo FC's Mano Font played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perez Collantes in the 84th minute of play. Mano Font took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Ibarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Arroyuelo FC's Maurin Saa got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 94 played minutes, Damian's Fertus Flames shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mano Font came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Damian reached it. In the 95th minute, Javier Ibarra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mano Font was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Arroyuelo FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
