The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ceibotes's Rigoberto Alastuey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Ahumada in the 3rd minute of play. Nereo Ahumada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Rigoberto Alastuey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Oinatz Yzarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru Alamo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Nereo Ahumada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urania FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Ahumada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oinatz Yzarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urritz Riera charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urritz Riera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Urritz Riera kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Ceibotes got a freekick which was hit by Boniel Llibre. A collision led to Ceibotes getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Bakar Arripe hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ceibotes's zone, Nereo Ahumada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Alastuey came out of the goal and Nereo Ahumada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the game, Urania FC's Nereo Ahumada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Alastuey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Nereo Ahumada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rigoberto Alastuey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Mancio Ojesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordairo Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ceibotes booed when Urania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urritz Riera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ceibotes's zone, Cristos Taramona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Alastuey came out of the goal and Cristos Taramona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Cordairo Orozco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mancio Ojesto in the 57th minute. When Oinatz Yzarra came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Urania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oinatz Yzarra couldn't finish the play. If Oinatz Yzarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Alastuey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristos Taramona, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Cristos Taramona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mergildo Pedronera's late challenge caught a Ceibotes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mergildo Pedronera helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Urania FC's Mergildo Pedronera got a free kick in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Mancio Ojesto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cordairo Orozco, 1-1. Cristos Taramona struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Rigoberto Alastuey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urania FC. After 78 played minutes Urania FC got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Cerezo. Rigoberto Alastuey came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Urania FC's Oinatz Yzarra. But to his dismay, Oinatz Yzarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Urania FC's Nereo Ahumada got a free kick in the 85th minute. Cristos Taramona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Alastuey having to interfere. Rigoberto Alastuey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristos Taramona in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Urania FC were the better team. Urania FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
