Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Firmo Miranes got the match started through his kick off. If Firmo Miranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 played minutes Gibraltar FC got a freekick which was hit by Leizarraga Cervera. 8 minutes into the match, Jeren's Silviano Llamosas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juaneizu Balbas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juaneizu Balbas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Firmo Miranes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gibraltar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jeren the free kick. The supporters of Jeren booed when Gibraltar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Firmo Miranes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Firmo Miranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Egoitz Acaron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Firmo Miranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egoitz Acaron having to interfere. Egoitz Acaron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firmo Miranes in the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Silviano Llamosas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jeren's supporters rose to their feet, but Silviano Llamosas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juaneizu Balbas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Jeren's Ximenez Vijil got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Marcelito Rendain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egoitz Acaron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Gibraltar FC's Firmo Miranes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egoitz Acaron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caetano Polo was the one to do the kick off. Jeren were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Gibraltar FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manel Arraña took the corner. Jeren's Manel Arraña was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juaneizu Balbas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Silviano Llamosas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juaneizu Balbas was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 56thth minute of the game Silviano Llamosas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gibraltar FC's Juaneizu Balbas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cambranes Montarco's late challenge caught a Jeren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cambranes Montarco helped the player get up and apologised. Cambranes Montarco hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Silviano Llamosas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juaneizu Balbas having to make a save. Marcelito Rendain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Egoitz Acaron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelito Rendain hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Silviano Llamosas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egoitz Acaron was a little too slow when Firmo Miranes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-1. Caetano Polo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Caetano Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Egoitz Acaron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firmo Miranes in the 98th minute of the match. Gibraltar FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
