Cordarryl Rascon's late challenge caught a Equipo Balsamina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 40thth minute of the game Bixintxo Isasaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Equipo Balsamina FC's Aznar Lobelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bixintxo Isasaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Feliu Moneo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mangagrande FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliu Moneo was the one to do the kick off. In the 74th match minute, Mangagrande FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Tovilleja to maneuver through the defense. Cordarryl Rascon got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 86 played minutes Equipo Balsamina FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Saenz. In the 87th minute, Iturri Tijerina sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Equipo Balsamina FC's Aznar Lobelo didn't even have to move. If Bixintxo Isasaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paulin Montiano came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Mangagrande FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulin Montiano couldn't finish the play. Aznar Lobelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bixintxo Isasaga in the 97th minute. In the 100th minute, Paulin Montiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mangagrande FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Equipo Balsamina FC to leave the ground with a draw.
