Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luar Merecilla got the match started through his kick off. Jobo Taran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ishmael Grado having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Jobo Taran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brillante FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jobo Taran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Canonega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etxatxu Azcoitia in the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Luar Merecilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clarin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luar Merecilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Canonega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Ciro Vellosillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tome Argos might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ishmael Grado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tome Argos ran back to his position shaking his head. After 17 played minutes, Brillante FC's Aurken Resco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ishmael Grado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brillante FC reached it. In the 20th minute, Brillante FC's Tome Argos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ishmael Grado. Ishmael Grado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Benito Canonega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andoni Esquide in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Luar Merecilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clarin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luar Merecilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Etxatxu Azcoitia notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Brillante FC's Benito Canonega. Benito Canonega was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jobo Taran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ishmael Grado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tome Argos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Etxatxu Azcoitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loiola Heraña during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Clarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loiola Heraña to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Jobo Taran made the kick off in the second half. Etxatxu Azcoitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clarin FC's Ishmael Grado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jobo Taran in the 61st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Luar Merecilla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Canonega. That made the score 1-2 in the 65 minute of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clarin FC's goalkeeper Ishmael Grado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Clarin FC's Errapel Buitrago got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Bidun Betancur shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ishmael Grado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brillante FC's Benito Canonega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luar Merecilla in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tome Argos in the 81st minute of play forced Clarin FC's goalkeeper Ishmael Grado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jenaro Naveros kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The corner led Brillante FC's Bidun Betancur to fire away a dangerous shot which Ishmael Grado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Clarin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tome Argos came free, but Ishmael Grado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andoni Esquide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Canonega having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luar Merecilla in the 91st minute of play forced Brillante FC's goalkeeper Benito Canonega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Etxatxu Azcoitia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Clarin FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clarin FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
