The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santa Fe DH's Marcial Bero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Fe DH from getting a goal against them. Fertus Jaraba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Marcial Bero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fertus Jaraba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Barrenechea kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Gervaso Retortillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Bero having to interfere. Fertus Jaraba's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Marcial Bero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Fertus Jaraba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mateo Copeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Efrain Uribizalgo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelacio Sedillo having to interfere. If Fertus Jaraba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 42 played minutes Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Mirande Verlo. If Efrain Uribizalgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaquiel Villaro made a kick off. Fertus Jaraba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Bero having to interfere. If Mateo Copeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Santa Fe DH's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Copeiro came free, but Marcial Bero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match, Zaquiel Villaro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gelacio Sedillo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Gervaso Retortillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute Efrain Uribizalgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelacio Sedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Santa Fe's goalkeeper Gelacio Sedillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaquiel Villaro. Santa Fe DH's Francisco Miguelez got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Santa Fe's Mirande Verlo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mirande Verlo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Santa Fe protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mirande Verlo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Santa Fe! The goalkeeper, Gelacio Sedillo, was totally fooled by Santa Fe DH's Zaquiel Villaro, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Gervaso Retortillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Copeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Marcial Bero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Efrain Uribizalgo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gelacio Sedillo. That made the score 0-2 in the 81 minute of play. Gelacio Sedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Uribizalgo in the 86th minute of the match. When Inocencio Salsoro fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santa Fe DH's protests and gave Inocencio Salsoro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Santa Fe DH's Inocencio Salsoro got a free kick in the 87th minute. Marcial Bero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Copeiro in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Zaquiel Villaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gelacio Sedillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Fertus Jaraba fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santa Fe's protests and gave Fertus Jaraba a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Fertus Jaraba. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Gervaso Retortillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Fe's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervaso Retortillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Bero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Santa Fe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Santa Fe DH's performance. The match ended with a win for Santa Fe DH.
