A collision led to Guamito getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ferdinand Aranguren hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Teodoro Payueta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bautista Jaquinot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the match, Teodoro Payueta notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cardacua FC's Bautista Jaquinot. Bautista Jaquinot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Cardacua FC booed when Guamito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Payueta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Henestrosa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Venceslas Minilo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bautista Jaquinot. Cardacua FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Pascoal Perera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Guamito's Venceslas Minilo tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Cardacua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Payueta came free, but Bautista Jaquinot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domeka Atencio struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Alvarez Serna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardacua FC. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bartoli Urria to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Guamito's zone, Bartoli Urria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvarez Serna came out of the goal and Bartoli Urria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Guamito's goal looked a bit too open when Domeka Atencio came free, but Alvarez Serna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Domeka Atencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bartoli Urria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alvarez Serna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvarez Serna came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Cardacua FC's Domeka Atencio. But to his dismay, Domeka Atencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Bartoli Urria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvarez Serna having to interfere. Bautista Jaquinot was a little too slow when Ferdinand Aranguren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-3. Osasun Candamo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Osasun Candamo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartoli Urria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Alvarez Serna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bartoli Urria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Domeka Atencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Domeka Atencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cardacua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domeka Atencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvarez Serna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the game, Osasun Candamo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guamito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cardacua FC the free kick. In the 95th match minute, Guamito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osasun Candamo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 97 minutes, Bartoli Urria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cardacua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartoli Urria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Cardacua FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
