When Yoco FC's Cordarrel Goicoolea in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caracolito FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rey Lujo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rey Lujo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rey Lujo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Iratze Amestoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luzea Herce, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Placido Moreda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caracolito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yoco FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordarrel Goicoolea in the 14th minute of play forced Caracolito FC's goalkeeper Crispo Torrens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caracolito FC's Rey Lujo got his second yellow card of the match in the 15th minute. The referee ordered Rey Lujo off the ground. Rey Lujo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Tino Arrillaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Crispo Torrens having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luzea Herce in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iratze Amestoy saved Yoco FC from getting behind. Llanos Santander hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Yoco FC's zone, Luzea Herce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iratze Amestoy came out of the goal and Luzea Herce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Yoco FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Llanos Santander hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Yoco FC's Xuan Guaras got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Tino Arrillaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yoco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tino Arrillaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cordarrel Goicoolea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Crispo Torrens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paco Sociats hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Tino Arrillaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tino Arrillaga struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Crispo Torrens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yoco FC. Luzea Herce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iratze Amestoy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 59th minute, Llanos Santander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luzea Herce got free with Iratze Amestoy in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Caracolito FC's zone, Cordarrel Goicoolea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Crispo Torrens came out of the goal and Cordarrel Goicoolea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, Caracolito FC's Luzea Herce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iratze Amestoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Luzea Herce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luzea Herce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Iratze Amestoy made a huge save. When Rodolfo Zarain fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caracolito FC's protests and gave Rodolfo Zarain a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordarrel Goicoolea in the 85th minute of play forced Caracolito FC's goalkeeper Crispo Torrens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luzea Herce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iratze Amestoy having to make a save. If Cordarrel Goicoolea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
