Ubendu Guitian might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodosio Escabi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ubendu Guitian ran back to his position shaking his head. Venintea FC's Orixe Maestu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Ochandio in the 6th minute of play. Ubendu Guitian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute Fernando Victoria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Escabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Baltasar Maruri came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Venintea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Maruri couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Fernando Victoria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodosio Escabi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ubendu Guitian during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venintea FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ubendu Guitian hit a great ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corozo FC's goalkeeper Teodosio Escabi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orixe Maestu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christovao Olloqui in the 30th minute of play. Ubendu Guitian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Ubendu Guitian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venintea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubendu Guitian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ubendu Guitian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Teodosio Escabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

If Fernando Victoria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Venintea FC's Baltasar Maruri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodosio Escabi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christovao Olloqui charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christovao Olloqui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christovao Olloqui kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Maruri in the 64th minute of play forced Corozo FC's goalkeeper Teodosio Escabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inge Mendigoitia hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Fernando Victoria struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Teodosio Escabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venintea FC. Teodosio Escabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Maruri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Maruri in the 69th minute of play forced Corozo FC's goalkeeper Teodosio Escabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Baltasar Maruri came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Venintea FC fans jumped to their feet.
