The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ihintza Corbella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costante Reguer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Venegas getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Casado Tarsa hit a great ball. Providencia FC's Inaki Cores couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Venegas. Costante Reguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ihintza Corbella in the 9th minute of the match. Honorio Zaera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ciceron Trullols showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Luisito Valderramal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venegas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Valderramal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costante Reguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ihintza Corbella in the 28th minute of the match. Costante Reguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ihintza Corbella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Ciceron Trullols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Zaera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciceron Trullols received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Honorio Zaera came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciceron Trullols slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute. A collision led to Venegas getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ignatius Reyo hit a great ball. Inaki Cores took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Costante Reguer. Venegas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Venegas's Costante Reguer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Venegas from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, Providencia FC's Robustiano Salbago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Costante Reguer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Venegas's Luisito Valderramal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorio Zaera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Providencia FC's Robustiano Salbago got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Ihintza Corbella reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Costante Reguer. The goal made the score 4-1. Eulalio Hernaez hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Providencia FC's Robustiano Salbago slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Costante Reguer. That made the score 4-2 after 87 minutes of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Venegas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Providencia FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
