The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Venegas's Ciceron Trullols got a free kick in the 35th minute. Curairima FC's Pepito Zubizarrieta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Curairima FC from getting a goal against them. Luisito Valderramal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pepito Zubizarrieta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolao Arraya to make the kick off. Costante Reguer made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Veremundo Baezabal sent off a good shot on target. Nicolao Arraya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Costante Reguer made a huge save. If Nicolao Arraya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes, Venegas's Feliberto Gayoso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pepito Zubizarrieta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Venegas reached it. Costante Reguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolao Arraya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Veremundo Baezabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Costante Reguer made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Veremundo Baezabal sent off a good shot on target.
