Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sabin Surga started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Estapapes defense, Ihintza Corbella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horado Concha. The Estapapes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horado Concha should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Estapapes's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Salbago came free, but Horado Concha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ihintza Corbella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horado Concha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Providencia FC's Honorio Zaera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Surga in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Providencia FC booed when Estapapes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Chicarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Estapapes getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cesareo Palenciano hit a great ball. If Vergaray Lamboy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horado Concha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Salbago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Estapapes getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Cesareo Palenciano hit a great ball. Valerio Sarasua was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Providencia FC fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Providencia FC's Ihintza Corbella looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Estapapes's Vergaray Lamboy got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ihintza Corbella stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fertus Bailina's late challenge caught a Estapapes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fertus Bailina helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Providencia FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fertus Bailina hit a great ball. Vergaray Lamboy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Estapapes's Sabin Surga in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Honorio Zaera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Surga in the 80th minute of play. Sabin Surga took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Zaera. Honorio Zaera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some careless play in the Providencia FC defense, Sabin Surga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorio Zaera. The Providencia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorio Zaera should have stopped the shot. Horado Concha made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Robustiano Salbago sent off a good shot on target. Horado Concha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robustiano Salbago in the 93rd minute.
