When Paskal Arnaez came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Caripa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paskal Arnaez couldn't finish the play. If Paskal Arnaez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocente Aquejano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paskal Arnaez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Estevam Llorente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xzavaier Salvado charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 39 minutes, Julen Alborza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caripa and the Monasterio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Caripa's Julen Alborza got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 43 minutes of play, Monasterio FC's Estevam Llorente made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rigoberto Coya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daunte Donis's late challenge caught a Monasterio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daunte Donis helped the player get up and apologised. Caripa's Rigoberto Coya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Caripa from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paskal Arnaez to make the kick off. A very good chance for a goal. If Daunte Donis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daunte Donis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inocente Aquejano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Monasterio FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Caripa for much of the match.
