After some careless play in the Lugo FC defense, Koldobika Azua kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ganix Bocinos. The Lugo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ganix Bocinos should have stopped the shot. Ganix Bocinos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamberto Rioboo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Cesareo Garzona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elizardo Morais struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Anastasio Cisquella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lugo FC. Lugo FC's Arias Piciña shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Anastasio Cisquella but with some difficulty. Rameriz Giumill was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Lugo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Lugo FC's Udalaitz Maltrana got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elizardo Morais got free with Anastasio Cisquella in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Elizardo Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lugo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elizardo Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Cisquella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 51st minute, Koldobika Azua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lamberto Rioboo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ganix Bocinos having to make a save. Zavier Esparza hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ganix Bocinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koldobika Azua in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes in the game, Lamberto Rioboo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ganix Bocinos having to interfere. Lugo FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Koldobika Azua 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Rameriz Giumill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Koldobika Azua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ganix Bocinos having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lugo FC's zone, Lamberto Rioboo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ganix Bocinos came out of the goal and Lamberto Rioboo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ganix Bocinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koldobika Azua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elizardo Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Cisquella having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rameriz Giumill in the 94th minute of play forced Malpaso's goalkeeper Anastasio Cisquella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lamberto Rioboo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malpaso played a much better game than Lugo FC and deserved their victory. The Lugo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
